WHAT IS IT?

aesPlla® provides a natural-looking solution to volume loss, utilising PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) to stimulate collagen production for gradual volumisation and rejuvenation. PLLA stimulates the body's own collagen regeneration, offering softer and more natural-looking results than traditional hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Treatment results are gradual and are enhanced over time, as the bio-stimulatory filler harmonises with the skin’s natural collagen production to create a fresher and smoother appearance.

How Does it Work?

Collagen loss occurs at a rate of 1% per year after the age of 30, leading to facial volume loss. aesPlla® combats this depletion through the bio-stimulation of collagen regeneration for fast and effective rejuvenation.

The treatment is ideal for patients 30+ who are concerned with skin ageing, laxity and areas prone to volume loss, such as the cheeks, temples, nasolabial and marionette lines.

 

Am I Suitable for Treatment?

Before your aesPlla® treatment, a detailed medical history will be taken to ensure you have no conditions that might increase any risks of unwanted side effects, consultation is also important to discuss your expectations and whether or not this treatment is able to meet them.

Does it Hurt?

As this is an injectable treatment, some discomfort is to be expected, however, a topical anaesthetic cream can be applied prior to treatment to numb the skin.

 

how many treatments will I need

You can have just a single treatment, however to achieve the maximum results we recommend 3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. 

 

How Long will it Last?

aesPlla® offers long-term rejuvenation solution. Treatment results are gradual and longer-lasting than those of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Initial results will begin to show at around four weeks post-treatment, lasting for up to 3 years. aesPlla® is a semi-permanent treatment that naturally biodegrades within the skin over time.

 

Before Treatment

All make up will need to be removed prior to treatment, so please come ‘fresh faced’ if possible. Alcohol, aspirin, Ibuprofen and a range of dietary supplements including; St. Johns Wort, fish oils, Gingko Biloba, Vitamins C and E- may all contribute to bruising and are best avoided 24 hours before treatment. Treatment cannot be administered if there is an active skin infection, including acne or cold sores or if you are unwell - including colds, coughs, sore throats etc. Do contact the clinic to discuss any illness or new medicines prior to attending.
